Which is more important - safe guiltfree sex or academic safety and success?

I'm gonna have to go for academic success. Or we'll see if one really does cancel out the other.

Yes it doesn't really make any sense. My reasoning is sometimes questionable. Both are theoretical, not practical. Well, within the near future I hope I can put both into practice, I guess. Both seem fairly obvious.
