LACTOSE INTOLERANCE

Cheese Sucks.

Hey Civilisation!

Yeah, so I feel like I'm being put in a box this summer, especially living here alone in London so close to work. I just work and never really have the time or effort to make plans. But tomorrow I am seeing Jelena, soo excited!!! We're going to the East Enders Thrift Store for an evening event again ( FREE BOOZE, £3 VINTAGE DRESSES). So some exciting photos will be up for you of crazy faces and sexy outfits, fear not.

I overslept today. I woke up 09:15, work started 09:45, and I got there 5 minutes early. I am mightily pleased with myself i must admit!

Oh dear, thank god I like my job and love my co-workers. Having to sort out getting two more flatmates for our house on top of 48 hours work replying to dozens of e-mails - It Ain't Easy, Life Ain't Breezy.
Now I'm off to bed to rekindle the cycle. And of course start the day with a jog and some juice.

Goodnight,
I'll dream of birthday cakes (for next week I turn 20)
hope you have sugar-coated dreams too, reality is a brick wall,
where you need a sledge hammer to succeed, a cake knife won't cut it.

don't miss M.I.A.'s new tracks, here's "Space":

Today's Stomach Ache

Today's work was horrible I don't want to work at House of Fraser again! All alone in the Karen Millen section. It was lonely! The staff was rather unsociable, the canteen was a nightmare, with everyone sitting in their separate corners. The manager couldn't seem to remember my name so called out "Karen Millen! Karen Millen! Karen Millen!" when a costumer needed help... Yay I must never work there again and I'm back in Whiteley's with the KM-family tomorrow!

Days of Haze

Broke as a bone but still alive. On Thursday I went to an art exhibition and Donna and I chatted to a bunch of Swedes swarming at our feet. Strange Tesco phenomenon... Friday work, and now work work work

Thursday's PLAY IT Art Exhibition
Libby's movie about her grandparents' Holocaust story "What can I tell you"
How strange it is...
Dress from the Zara sale

busybody

hey I work all day long and collapse at 12 most days.
I had a great weekend with my dad, step mom and step sis.
We took loads of great pictures. Annika makes a great paparazzi.

Towards the weekend I'll be having some fun again. Will shoot some snaps.
'Play It' art exhibit private viewing on Thursday at Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.
Trying not to be a square..

These photos are from our weekend:
Friday dinner at Ripe Tomato in Notting Hill

Exploring the South, Saturday morning in Hyde Park then Borough Market and Waterloo
Saturday dinner at Four Seasons in Bayswater, best duck in town.

Sunday in South Kensington, at the grand V&A, check out the garden, restaurant and glass

At Harrods checking out bags and funny looking people with nice bags

Home sweet home (for the time being)...

Dusty Eyes and a Dirty Mind

Ahh, I just spoke to Chris this evening (over the phone) about love, lust and desire for better things. Some parts he didn't want to hear about, but I told him anyway! The only way to release steam is to let it out! If you've got an extra ear in your periphery, let it all hang loose is my philosophy - I have enjoyed this fake-free day. Tomorrow, let's bring on the phoney smiles! Working the flagship store in 4.5 inch platforms and then dining with the family at Ripe Tomato.
Looking forward to living life with a temporary silver lining.

Today I have trekked around in Notting Hill and consumed 4 discs of the L-word. My eye infection is wanting to resurface but I won't let it, sleep shall be my cure as I can't afford a nutritious diet at the moment.

Oh, I fall to sleep peacefully with the roof terrace view instilled on my retina: (fresh baby-pic, recharged my camera)
Goodnight!
Will be dreaming of Findhorn Beach with the band and Copenhagen with Nina, two seperate vacations I need to squeeze into this summer

Y rocks!

Forgot to mention saw this guy play at the Rowebarge in Guildford, great music, bought his CD, great shimmering sound, and I don't love the music less when he loves me back! Fuck wavves, go Y! He's playing at Womad festival an other venues, catch him if you can!
Check out the music here

Livin' Central for a Couple of Weeks

and already feeling a little unhappy. I miss Karma and Seb and the loveliness of Guildford! Living at my x's place. Ugh. If I could live with young fun loving kids and not have to watch my money. But it's cool considering the rent is cheap I can live on £10 worth of food in a week - bread, yogurt and juice.
But I feel like I need some friendly, loving, crazy friends. I don't feel the love in the city. But the view from this rooftop is pretty.

I forgot my camera at home...
but Karma is bringing it on Thursday when we're going out in the city together.

My dad just told me he's droppong by this weekend, that should be cool!

I'm not living it large just yet
But this is how I spent the night at Jelena's borrowed crib:

Epilation, Sweat and MP3's

Epilating my legs for the first time without developing too much of a sweat-tache.
Wrote a song about the girl sitting next to me on the train:

Lollipop breath
icky sticky grape juice-scent
I held my nostrils together and
closed my eyes to ignore the pink
she is reading information
on a standard university
that will lead her to an average life
ken and barbie happy ever after
although I'm sure he cheats
and she feels unfulfilled.

Yeah, I'm pretty presumptuous.
I've watched four episodes of the L-word today, as my journey in to work allows me this.
Rendezvous tomorrow, start at ten but I end at 4. Which gives me time to sign some papers and start paying rent for a house I do not yet live in.

goodnight. the other night was good I've got some pictures but I'm tired and overworked - my next free day will be next Thursday... and I've already worked since Wednesday last week (7 days)

hardcore goodbye

Going to get Stoked at the Stoke!

Playing some pool and eating some pizza at the Stoke. Dressed like a skank in a polka dot skirt and purple tights. Just resting from my classy Karen Millen work wear. Working 46 hours this week. it will be a joy ride!

Photos up: cheers!

I wear shorts and glasses in my free time

Ritual at the end of the day, walk across the Waterloo bridge for some fresh air and closure:

We'll I've been working since Wednesday, next free day is Friday, so working more or less full time. Travelling is kind of getting a bit annoying. So I've started reading Dorian Grey again. Feel like I should bring my dictionary... I shower and then skip to the station put my full make up on the train within twenty minutes. And then I hop on the tube to whichever store it takes me to! Jolly good fun.

I've started watching the L word with French subtitles and at house-parties I speak the language because I want to learn to be relatively good at speaking French again! Before I turn 20. In two months. That's my number one goal. Stay Sharp!

Rest assured, more photos are coming up soon!
cheerio

- Now Karma-baby is back!

After Work

My wild after work consists of spilling garlic sauce all over my leg, sharing a melon with Seb, not wanting to go to bed. Enjoyed today at work so much! Working at High Street Kensington tomorrow, hope it goes well! Might go iron my dress and watch L-word now and drink my bowl of tea.

Had lunch at Kensington Garden, squirrels and pigeons attack!
