Rouge

Calling this post "rouge" to describe my day and those that will come this following week as I return to Sweden to live a life with a silver spoon in my mouth! I've always associated it with drama, extravagance and velvet luxury.

Yesterday was my last day at Karen Millen (in London). We'll see if I get working in Glasgow... don't know if the heels are worth it when I sell for minimum £50/hour, and don't really get a lot in return.

I want to start investing properly and set up my own online business selling functional canvas bags that don't look cheap like they always do (££€€$$) !

Today Karma and I have had a frickin fab day in Woking!! Shopping! I picked out a pair of grey trousers that Seb bought and a sexy grey skirt for Karma. I bought some presents. I got a bag, a handmade necklace and a knit cape (shown below!!) Then we hit spooons!

Anyhow I will be splashing a bunch of posts up with loads of photos and gossip when I return to Swedenland - tomorrow noon!!

Tequila

We went out for some tequila for Tilly's leaving party at various venues:

It was a good night that only cost me one drink. A guy offered me a cigarette I said no, don't waste your time, money and health. He got offended and annoyed and yelled at me your breath stinks! Then I had some guy walk me home although he was walking in the wrong direction - he lived far far away but enjoyed telling me tales of his Omani oil consultant for a father... Weirdoes in the wild. Poor Karma only got an hour's sleep and is feeling horrible today poor Pookie hasn't slept for days with all her 7 am shifts.

Going to get Stoked at the Stoke!

Playing some pool and eating some pizza at the Stoke. Dressed like a skank in a polka dot skirt and purple tights. Just resting from my classy Karen Millen work wear. Working 46 hours this week. it will be a joy ride!

A Little Sunshine for My Ears Too...

You may not be able to tell from the pictures, but even now, a bit later on in the evening, it's scorching hot! Don't let yourself be fooled by the English suburban scenery. I was only wearing a skirt a tank top and a canvas bag and still sweating. Seb was high shine glossy. Shame we can't go to their gig tonight but instead Karma and I are going to a local gig, the opening of Backline. Much better than an hour long train.

I went in to town to buy some more professional looking clothing for work (no but honestly I wanted another New Look £5 big pale straw hat) but ended up buying music at HMV when I was seeing Karma at work. She was security, had a big bug in her ear, and ripped off the security seals so I could have a listen on a cheap portable boom box. Narrowed it down to four CD's in the end. But I regret buying Teen Dream, since I wanted the special edition.. Oh well, all the support to Beach House! I like to hold hardcopies, cradle them like my babies rather than only having them as illegal cyber babes.

It's boiling I don't want to spend the day barbecuing myself in the park. I will seek shelter from the sun! I want to swim in the sea! Poor Karma is working all day until 7:30 and going to Sweden for a week tomorrow.. it's just me and Seb, haha. Yeah I'll keep on looking for a room feel I'm overstepping it or I should contribute more to the househould - I've pretty much been working non-stop since Tuesday and then when I come home late at night 10-12ish Karma sees me drooling myself to sleep, passed out on the sofa bed...

Out in Sun I will go with my sunglasses on! Cheerio!

Worked yet another long day, I am enjoying my £10 Primark dresses! Styling clients is fun!

Yesterday I went to play pool with Seb and some of his mates. I suck at pool and I've cut down on drinking so at this point I feel it after on drink. We ordered Indian so hot I got dizzy and fell asleep... same thing happening now!

Hey I'm Working

I have now got a temp job at Whitley's Karen Millen (in Bayswater).

It's a bitch travelling to and fro London though, and the price of a ticket takes away 2 hours of pay more or less.. Good experience anyhow, might try and find a room in London... and look for more work.

On Monday Karma and I went to ACM's annual showcase. awesome! Then we went to the famous Boiler Room and saw ACM's teachers perform who were so talented!

Yesterday I met up with Karma for drinks and dinner at Giraffe, after I'd gotten back from a couple of hours work in London... good times!

I fell asleep early but still feel quite sick, phlegmy, and have got an infected eye.

They'll make me buy clothes today because I don't have anything Karen Millen-y in my suitcase. Well sale goes on today and I get 50 percent, so I don't really mind! Working from 1130 to 2030..

London Slumber

Tired of assholes.

Went to London yesterday had a good time in the end. Karen Millen Covent Garden are apparently sending me to the Brent Cross store. I'll keep you posted. Woke up this morning took a stroll along south london to waterloo. Hyde Park is so ugly! I don't understand the hype. Back in G-ford comfort's calling, not London. Karma and I are gonna get some cocktails and I might start man-hunting again.

Times like these I feel like a cigarette

But ew no (don't worry)! So I am in Guildford. Lovely lovely Guildford 30 mins outside London city centre, with lovely Karma and Seb. Karma is a hard working gal! I brought them travel candy (Twix and Turkisk Peber) and tax paid booze - Fisk shots, Jägermeister, and a pack of my favorite commercial cider (Somersby). I snoozed like a baby, fell asleep without brushing my teeth or washing my face (the story of my life).

Today woke up early as usual, Karma and Seb were off to work and school, so I took the opportunity to relax and clean the kitchen. Clean dishes in a sink with a broken hot water tap..

The three of us met up for lunch at the Tudor Lounge and then Seb and I went food shopping, Loads of food and 24 beers that should do us for a while...

I've been fixing stuff with the house that we're renting for a year from next month, we're four now, with the awesome Sapphire as the newest addition! She's in it for the fun too! So hopefully it will all be sorted out when the landlord snaps back soon enough!

The work I was to be getting, they're not replying, so I'm visiting their store tomorrow... and while I'm there, I'm going to Lena Restaurant, a restaurant an acquaintance manages.

Now Karma just got off work and we're off for a jog and then maybe the Surrey University's Annual "Lake Party"

New Phone!

I've got a new phone! It works! I can text people again! I could pay with my card and sign for it without having to press in the pin code! I am starving, only had the Wetherspoon's £1.50 breakfast deal today! Writing up my CV, trying to get a job! Starving! When I came back from brunch with Karma I couldn't get in the house, so I went to the park! I hate bugs and sunshine! I felt all itchy and dirty when I got inside an hour later, I rebrushed my hair! Let's pray I get a job!

Probably going in to London after 4, then I can get a super off peak return which is only £8.20.

I am wearing my leather shorts today with red tights! Hopefully I look classy!
