It's boiling I don't want to spend the day barbecuing myself in the park. I will seek shelter from the sun! I want to swim in the sea! Poor Karma is working all day until 7:30 and going to Sweden for a week tomorrow.. it's just me and Seb, haha. Yeah I'll keep on looking for a room feel I'm overstepping it or I should contribute more to the househould - I've pretty much been working non-stop since Tuesday and then when I come home late at night 10-12ish Karma sees me drooling myself to sleep, passed out on the sofa bed...
Out in Sun I will go with my sunglasses on! Cheerio!
At least I don't have to wear a tight silk dress or sweat in black leather trousers... as I did on Tuesday in Kensington Gardens:
Yesterday I met up with Annuka to have some Chinese food and then go to the Degree Show that we thought started at 8. Yeah it didn't we ended up missing it but went to the Degree Show Party at the Union. Had a fun night, was home at 6am, yeah long party sessions lately.
At Magdalen Green eating Chinese
The crowd was moving out of the show when we got there
And they moved across to the other side of the street (Art Bar)
At the Union warming up with some Hulk juice
We went to the Hub where the party had left for the Union:
kiddy pool of booze:
So Dale and Reuben played us some bluesy music
Then we back to Bass Orgy to get sweaty, very sweaty:
After Bass Orgy, we went to the 24hr Bakery
And then to an afterparty that had pretty much died
I'm pretty sure it was the dodgy sausage roll that I had on Friday that caused all this ruckus.
I had my Accounting exam this morning at nine, felt it went rather well. I wore my velour PJ bottoms just incase of stomach pains. Ridiculous. Won't walk around like that on any given day.
Afterward the exam, when I realised I was pretty much back to normal I changed into rather short flared pleated A-line skirt with a floral pattern pinching the waist. I decided to pair this with brown knee high stocking and THAT WAS IT. Then it's windy outside. It's been warm today, so the possibility of my skirt flying up made me sweat even more...
If ever I dare to go 'bare-thighed' again, I don't know!
Anyway, just back from the step and sculpt class at the gym, not the best idea for recovery.
Now I'm all booked up for the gym - my plan is to go 3-4 times a week and if I book 2-3 classes in advance then I have to go or else I get a fine (I'm too lazy to ever call and cancel)!
Reverend and the Makers promo at Skint on Tuesday.
It just dawned on me how happily married I am to Kirsty! It's been three days since the holy ceremony united us. Skint is so fun if you love to dance and shove yourself sweaty. I do!
I can hear Kirsten and Lizzie howling away doing an impression of yesterday's 'Fever Dog.'
I must sing myself into Kizzy's room and satisfy their musical needs.
If I look manky it's only 'cause I've been sweating all night from my awesome dancing.
Goodnight. Today has been eventful. I tricked Kirsty into buying a milkshake so I could get one for free (at Ketchup). I bought £50 worth of make up (quantity not quality) - I am ready for tomorrow's gig.
I was born in Canada, got away with a Canadian citizenship.
Went to school in den Haag, Netherlands for a couple years.
Then completed my high school years and IB Diploma at an International School in Helsingborg, Sweden.
I've been going crazy for a year (sabbatical) since I finished school - worked for Greenpeace, went to Copenhagen, went to New York. That's when sanity dawned upon me. Just a little bit. I went back and forth to London. Started living a more 'independent life.' Now I am in Dundee, Scotland studying a 4 year Hons degree in BSc International Business.
