Post-Bedtime Haikus

Sorry for the photos I haven't yet uploaded, but I ensure you my life is still very enjoyable. I know have a bike that I'm borrowing from Peter until I manage to fix mine that I've been working on for 2 months or so... Currently studying at Kirsty's place. Luckily we plan to move in together next year, so I don't have to sleep over at hers all the time. It feels way too natural. The past week was filled with, for starters hectic music playing, unhealthy routines, a continued all nighter, and then ended up rocking full band gig in sleep deprived state of delirium on Friday, glorious sleep in the night, music and great home made extravagant food in the weekend... Now I'm not sleeping again staying up with Kirsty studying, not a superb idea!
On Friday I am heading to London for the weekend, exciting!!

Night time haikus when studying becomes too dreary..
starting off with my favourite one that I wrote in third grade (9 yrs)
Lions are huge cats
But only the females hunt
Males are so lazy

which still fits with my life philosophy to this day..

Hope That Life Isn't a Prison

But as far as I'm concerned it still seems to be.
I'm doing much better than the rest,
not good enough for me or for some person out there who may or may not want to be with me.
On a planet far far away. I wish I could be like Alex Scally or Victoria Legrand in Beach House. But no, I am the drummer. The person who is forced to stay calm pretends to smoke a joint but in fact suffers from inertia and is not there to relax.
Any change is good, but you get used to everything after a while, or does it mean you have to be uncomfortable for the rest of your life to be good? Yeah, totally.
To be a banker or to be a hippie, that is the question.

FYI I am doing a lot of cool chill stuff on the side of studying but I am feeling guilt-tripped into only talking about academics or the philosophy behind its incarceration of innocent hippies.

Life is a Prison

We have to conform to this iron cage of rules and order.
I am an unorganised person trying to be organised and self-disciplined.
My discipline is low; I never get to rest.
Well, Annuka is gone for four days and my other wife Kirsty just wants to watch House all the time. Maybe this is my chance.
