I don't do anything at all these days(?)

Templelane, fireworks and the consequenses of Templelane, earlier this month.

All my (3) classes seem to have ended. Took my final exams for Psychology and IT today and I have no more classes. Only 2 exams 'til I leave Dundee in two weeks time. This will give me loads of time to shop, play, tan, sing, and read the complete works of Shakespeare. I am going to perfect my body at the gym tonight.

Thinking of going out tonight since I have very few obligations these days, but everyone seems to be too poor!

Greasy Food

Fake lashes make me look like a circus freak - I got angry at the results and took them off.

Tired from alcohol and 4 am conversation and from tacky taste and the flavour for fast food and lazy ass-ing around and from a lack of purpose.
The weather is crazy, it's almost impossible to walk down the main road, I've never heard Dundee's winds make such a prominent roar.

I miss my art buddies!

I am going to the gym. I'm out of shape, I've eaten too much non-food, and stayed indoors far too much. My mother and father would not approve. I want to get my own apartment. I don't like the wind.

Pre-Lashes

My wall looks much better with those free posters sprawled all across it's pale bricks.
(No one loves me but myself).

Just got fat from delicious Chinese food. Gotta go get some ice-cream, then I'm going out with EunYi! Jesus, it's been a while. First to Templelane then to Underground where a band is playing. I can never get used to the crappy names of clubs here: Social, Underground, London Nightclub.
I been bad with classes lately... Well I've loaned some 1000 word corporate finance books that will hopefully make up for my lazy attendance..

I Love Freebies

Bought a cape/duvet-sized scarf yesterday in Glasgow, Urban Outfitters. Poster wall.

Jennie and I tore down gig posters in Captain's Rest last night. I came home with four. Julian Casablancas, Grizzly Bear plus Beach House, Wavves and the Captain's Rest November poster. Sweet.

WAVVES

Finally, I got to see WAVVES. After about three attempts.
I went to see them in Glasgow with Jennie, at Captain's Rest. It was a fun night, we locked ourselves in the bathroom and drank all the beer that we had brought with us.
They weren't on until 11, and when they did come on the sound was off. Drums, bass and guitar were on painfully loud settings, so you could only hear a slight buzzing noise when he sung into the mic, couldn't hear much, just watched him bobbing his head.
Was a pity. And the drummer WAVVES frontman was playing with was an arrogant ass. Let's just say Jennie asked them if I could have the set list, I gave constructive feedback and got slapped in the face with wise ass responses.
"Are YOU the lead singer of a band that tours around the world?"
The sarcasm didn't stop there; "You seem pleasant."
What a cunt. Wavves aren't really one of my preferred contemporary acts anymore. Don't think I'll listen to them for a good while.

Skank in Glasses

Lust for life. Losing it. Pointless studying. Business, no I want to be a plastic surgeon. Yes, this is a biproduct of consuming too much Nip/Tuck.
Now I'm going to the gym to loose a size, starting gymming again. At least three times a week. Then heading back home to study. What an adventurous life I lead.

Yeah, I saw New Moon yesterday midnight which caused me to sleep in and miss my classes...

Music & IT

I have an IT test in two hours, should be alright.
Band practice yesterday. Fever dog sounded very good, was quite easy to sing, need to practice Bring It On Home.

Ginger Hair & Northern Irland

Bug earrings, H&M. Hair colour, 109A nice 'n easy, Clairol.

Flight booked London-Belfast 13/12-16/12. Such a doobie for booking a flight to the International airport. I now have ginger hair, permanently coloured it today, now Kirsten wants to play with my shiny new hair, and burn it with straight irons.

Geek in Glasses

Been at the library studying IT. Been a good girl apart from the fact that I missed my fourth IBE-lecture in a row...
And I still don't know why Lizzy thinks me wearing a tank top is funny. She blatantly laughed out loud.

Sunday Sucks

New necklace from H&M's kids section.

I must admit I am very irritated today, just am. Eating salad and drinking beer like I used to, it feels good. See if someone wants to grab more beers, I know I do.

Memoirs of a Strip Club

@ Private Eyes Saturday the 7th of November with José.

The Only Fun in Town

I'm gonna steal photos off Tamar so I can present to you my evening look of yesterday (fake leopard vest, Nirvana T, Lizzie's Topshop bodycon bright floral skirt, black patent belt, purple tights, black sandal peeptoe heels).

We went to Templelane, the stamped our arm at the union,
we went to flat 12, although most of us really wanted to go to 13.

It was absolutely fab 'til one when we hit the union.
The DJ I like didn't play music I liked!
Then we went to 'Bul, Jamie kicked me, I turned around, he was drunk. Jesus. I was drunk, Lizzie was drunk, we were all drunk.
But not that drunk.

The Freshman Five

Lucozade Energy, FruitSalad, doubleDecker, kinder Chocolate, Hobnobs. F-A-T girl.

I now understand how people manage to put on those extra pounds when they start Uni. I've gotten crazily lazy lately and seem to have to developed a sweet tooth, especially when I study, I reward myself with something sweet, staying focused on the sugar rush.

Yay, and finally I fixed my 'puter.

Music & Procrastination

Hopefully I will be singing in a band soon. First rehearsal is planned to take place on Tuesday.
Now I hate that Office isn't working can't print off shit.

Let's Go Surfing

Fresh-faced before I went out yesterday.

Today I'm back to being skanky-manky.

Yesterday was fun, I came home this morning.
Surf/Stoner Club initiations. Me and this fella Tom lost. So I had to wear a fancy black hat which people continuously complimented me for throughout the night. He wore the pink trousers.

It's incredible how when you think you're pals then comes the several attempts at a kiss.
Not even a kiss? NO. Felt like fourteen again. Fuck's sake, déjà vu, as if I could be more prejudice about males in general at this point. Can't things ever be platonic, you dickheads? I felt like Miss Good Girl personified.

Anyways, it was fun. Allow me to paraphrase: I look like Lily Cole although Lily Cole's not pretty, I'm Lily Cole if she were pretty, basically it's just the ginger hair.

Scary Fucking Bitch

Jesus. The Scary Fucking Bitch (the big ol' landlord lady) walking outside my window again whilst I was having my first breath of skanky air for days. What does this teach me - no more cancer!

Oh, and I want to be a DJ! Come on' let's see to it!
Shower time!

EunYi's friend Ed is up from Brighton, we're all going out tonight. Should be fun if I manage to squeeze some studying in between.

Confusing

Today has been boring. I quit smoking a couple days back. What else is there? Especially in Dundee.

Sunday, 8 November 2009

Strip Club.

Ripped dress, Tom's Halloween costume (charity shop). Belt, GT. Insane heels, Topshop.

I got a lap dance that will scar me for years. Who would've known £15 gets you something so explicit. I felt so violated, she got completely naked with her private piercing in my face, tried to make out with me, wanted me to lick her nipples. She touched me toooooo much. Jesus, I was rigid. Thank god José was by my side and in on it too.
(Yes, I decided to go out tonight)

Gross & Fatty & Whiskey

Still icky sicky. Eating peanut butter sandwiches, drinking hot sauce, spooning Nutella, drinking whiskey.
Ugh.
Watching online TV.
Ugh.
I am so gross.
I hope I'm healthy for tomorrow so I can go to the gym and be less of a fatso.

Cuckoo Cough

Mid April this year @ the weird artsy venue Secret Project Robot in Williamsburg, New York.

I feel poorly today. Bought Nutella, peanut butter, ginger nut biscuits and Lucozade. None of it seems to help. Itchy throat. Cough, cough, cough. My IBE lecturer knows my name and went up the porch of a building to let other people pass and then greet me, happily he waves "Hello, Isabella! Was just waiting for people to pass so I could say hello to you!" I'm thinking eh? I say Hii, he's only a couple of feet away, yet he says hello, waves with all of his body. It's sweet. Maybe I'm being too cynical.

No parrtying tonight, but already been out twice this week and got drunk off of Templelane's cocktails both times. Those things are massive. Yesterday I had Kentucky Tea (bunch of liquor mixed together, bourbon, whiskey, gin) and Ink Bomb. My lips went blue, as can be observed in the post below.

DRUNK

Down jacket, hat and face marker.

After the celebrations at the park and socializing at Rachel's flat, I had drinks with EunYi at Social and Templelane. Happy. No problems.

flemmy prospectus

Clomping down the stairs from flat 8. Only the gingers work the heels (Katie & I).

I am still very happy about my A for my first Psychology report. Yesterday at Templelane was fun, but I was a bit of a pain in the ass, hugging Kirsten and Lizzie way too much. Today my voice is gross. I went to class then to Starbucks and town, then died in my bed for four hours, then joined Kirsten and Lizzie in the watching of SATC the movie. Tomorrow we're going to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night at Lochee Park, there's fireworks and a bonfire, I will bring my booze.

@ Templelane, blurry drunken me feasting upon Katie & Kirsten.

Tuesday

I didn't go to the St Vincent and Grizzly Bear concert in Glasgow! I was on my way to the train station, but then ran into José. I'm sad and don't want to be alone, especially not in Glasgow, raped by junkies. So went back to his and watched Breakfast at Tiffany's and played Bioshock on his PS3. Amazing! Apart for the gaming section, where I'm too scared to play, but so great to watch with the quality of the picture being enchanced by the the PS3 and the full HD TV. He just purchased a flatscreen, the bastard. Poor student.

Now I have woken up from crashing at one yesterday. Singing in a shaky voice. Apparently I'm jamming today with some music people. Hope my voice doesn't quake and quiver too much.

Back with a Slap

Halloween in Hastings.

Wind punched me today when I arrived in Dundee. Only took 4 and a half to Edinburgh from London, who would've thought. I woke up just before they announced my stop. Lucky, tired, from an eventful weekend. Went to London on Friday after class, arrived half ten, went to Hastings on Saturday to celebrate Halloween with Nina. Her boyfriend Tom was a dead old lady and his flatmate Boogie was dressed as a whore. I was a sad, sad emo. Nina was a mime. I liked Boogie's "whore" shirt, asked if I could have it, he liked to see it as an "I want to get into your shirt"- pickup line. No, man. Just wanted the shirt.
Got away with Tom's ripped lady-dress.
Her birthday was the next day :). Awesome to see Nina. Sad and happy times were had. Things got better towards the end, so I think. Came back to London at five (Hastings is two hours away).
Nice and pub and better. Left this morning, early morning, I was forty-five minutes early and a hobo asked me for a cigarette, I'm sorry, I don't roll fast enough.
Here I am, I washed my face again, thoroughly, I can't comb my hair, forgot the comb in Hastings, so I look like a bit of a mess.

Going to the Grizzly Bear concert tonight in Glasgow. Leaving at six...

Now I'm off to meet EunYi!

I quit smoking, see how stupid it makes me look.
