Bad Smells and New Clothes

I've got muscle pain in my inner thighs from swimming yesterday. What does this mean - that I'll get sleeker thighs or fatter thighs?
I'll just have to wait and see.

I found a canvas carrier bag and a soaking wet black jumper yesterday. I'll have to do laundry today to see what it looks like.

I'm watching Un prophète, watch it too!

Today will be a day in, studying and cleaning. Maybe watch Super Bowl at the union eating pizza.
I'm hungry, I'll make caviar and egg sandwiches
- feeling rather Swedish today.

Pick Me Up with a Pick-Up Line

You look smart...
Spot on.
said the Nisa guy yesterday night when we were snacky coming home from the cinema.

Today I'm in a cuddly mood where all I want to do is curl up in my polyester blanket.

Yesterday, Lizzie and I saw 'Nine' by Rob Marshall at DCA (Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre). Fergie plays a prostitute. Great film!
I love DCA, the only classy place I've encountered here so far.
Their films are great and showings cheap.

A Swedish Love Story

I have stayed up and watched this movie. Stunning 70's movie. Stylish grown-up looking kids in leather jackets, riding motorcycles, smoking cigarettes indoor, outdoors, they didn't think smoking was dangerous back then. It was very Swedish - everything was quiet and beautiful.

Watch it: Part 1 & Part 2

Everything's in Swedish, but no one ever speaks much. But the dad says something glorious in the end, I'll translate it for you:
"If I could give a speech, I would give it to the whole world, and I would tell them what a bunch of assholes they all are."
