Off to Scotland with a Boom!

I cut my hair at Darren Parker yesterday - do the same!
He will frame your face.

Yeah I'm already tired at the thought of travelling but hopefully I will be able to read and do plenty of sudoku to prevent boredom's brain damage. I am in a lazy mood these days and it's from all the commuting and the feeling of physically "going nowhere" in terms of where the home/heart is. But, hey Dundee here I come! So excited to see everyone again! To hug, touch squeeze, pinch!

P.S. I did my duty as a Swedish citizen and voted!! Do the same!
see you tomorrow in a different country
- Skinny (Fat?) Swede Scotland Edition
Photos will be up tomorrow or on Saturday from more recent adventures of the summer. Depending on how hearty I'm feeling.
We don't have internet at our house yet...

Ciao bello

Bye Bye UK

Hello Scandinavia! For the week at least. Seems like I got the temp job for Karen Millen, they liked me and are short-staffed, so now what I need to do is find accommodation over the summer! Karma sweetly offered their place here in G-ford, might do at the start until I find a bed to crash on in London. People are so touchy about sharing their expensive scarce resources in London...

Alright I'm soon off to the train station feeling surprisingly perky. Let's just hope I have enough money on my jojo-travelcard, else I'm rather fucked.

see you on the other side

I've had a bitch of a day

Dead, but happy and clean!

It's been sunny!
I am back in Dundee.
10:18 I got back to be exact.
I have been sleeping and so I am no longer nauseous and my stomach is back to normal.
Had a merry time drinking yesterday, but I felt craptastic when I was travelling but the fact that hotstuff was eyeing me despite the fact I was a zombie picked me up quite a bit - hair over the face is always good!

I was unhappy to wait so long for the train from Elsinore to Copenhagen Airport (a whole hour). Thank god for Flight of the Concords. I slept on the empty flight and on the train and when I came home.
The handle on my dad's vintage leather laptop bag broke, so people must have thought I was hauling around the bulkiest oldest computer in the world when in fact I have a MacBook and my 700 page books on Accounting and Economics were the reason for the rupture.

They had Arne Jacobsen's Egg Chair in the waiting room at the airport, oh, I was comfortable!

The Long Journey Home & Copenhagen with Lovely Claudia!

Prinsesstårta and hot sauce for the soup.

I am currently eating home made saffron salmon and shrimp soup, just about to eat marsipan cake (prinsesstårta)! How lovely to feel the space, cleanliness and general "niceness" of momma's house!

The day in numbers:
0420 Run down to the cab, going to catch the first train to Edinburgh from Perth at 0510.
0536 eating Cheese and Onion crisps - I hate Tesco meal deals.
0730 I've been queuing for half an hour to check in, there are no self-service machines.
0853 On the plane. I hear crying kids from all directions - the one straight behind me who is 'babbling' in German makes it impossible for me to rest in peace.
1130 (GMT+1) Land in Copenhagen
1240 I start my fun and active day with Claudia. Baresso Coffee.
1530 Heaving in the nachos at Hard Rock Café - many old bitter women stare.
1700 Beer at the bar that looks Australian/ Spanish, or like an After-Ski.
1830 Alice in Wonderland 3D - the fold back chairs at Imperial are heavenly velvety softness.
2100 Enjoying cider at the same beautiful bar where cigarette smoke clouds your gaze.
2145 Catch train back
2315 Step inside momma's house! Hurrah!

Pictures from today & yesterday up tomorrow - this girl is tired.

Back in Dundee after a Spectacular Night in Malmo

(I fell asleep on the train). Finally, I'm back. School starts monday. The party will continue this evening at cocktail bar Templelane.

Had a blast with Regina yesterday, for the first time ever we were deemed very approachable in 'the land of Små Grodorna'. Regina got a surprising kiss on the lips. Geeky stalker type in glasses - yum.
Never been hit on in Sweden before, thought this only happened in the US or the UK. (I choose to simply ignore the Middle East)

Nap time!

Back in Sweden, all the presents with me

Ugh. Got up at ten past six. left half past. Early flight to catch after two or so hours of sleep. Joined Ed to Sue's Christmas party in Hackney (Ed's mom was there and a lot of other crazy-mad adults). Got mulled wine, beer, samosas and red cheeks then headed off to 'that pub' in Hackney. A good 40minute trek in the cccold. Had pints of beer then went home inebriated, cold and hungry. Which meant that I ended up having a minced meat chicken kebab - ugh!

I am here, had a good nap on the flight that was slow to board, meaning I got an extra hour sleep. I came home and was welcomed with a small Swedish Christmas buffet. Mmm.

But there's no time to feel like a new born baby - mommy, brother and I are leaving for the airport at 3 am tonight. We'll be arriving in Barcelona tomorrow morning.

I am currently enjoying moldy cheese on ginger bread
- that's how we stay skinny in Sweden!

I like drinking at parties. Katie, Kirsten and I @ EunYi's flatparty, 2nd December.
