Good Morning Sunshines!

Freshfaced kids with a 1 litre B vitamin boost!

Had a nice evening at Lades Kaelder in Copenhagen and stayed over at Claudias, fell asleep after the first minute of Fight Club and now enjoying a healthy breakfast and then I'm off to celebrate my brother's graduation

Change of Plans!

Nina's here! We've had wine and crackers! Going to Utposten to have a few drinks! Claudia arrives at 0100! I leave at three! Go to Copenhagen! Fly away! Cheerio!

Stress & Ageing

Stress can be fun. I always feel nauseous when I travel - 'what if I miss my flight?' I think to myself arriving 2 hours before departure. Now I must fill out my scholarship application... Nina's coming to mine in an hour then we're going to Copenhagen meeting up with Claudia - if I have my way we're staying up all night until 5 am when I leave for the airport. Fun 'til the sun rises!
Ah! Pack! Fill out forms! I'm wearing red jeans from the 9th grade, is this okay? They fit well at least! Stress!

Wednesday in Copenhagen

These pictures speak a thousand word essay:

Ferry ride, streets of Copenhagen, shopping daze, headband frenzy, statue love, Copenhagen is beautiful - shots from various parts of town, at Planetarium watching U2's 3D concert, and punk & beer at Laedes Kaeller.

Flippin' Fantastic

Yesterday's lunch @ Café le fil du Rasoir

Yesterday, I had another fabulous day in Copenhagen with Claudia. Went to an early lunch with my dad, brother and step mom at 'Café le fil du Rasoir' in town. I could not stomach that amount of meat on a plate (or a bowl, really). Arrived in Copenhagen at 2 and a lot of fun was to take place! Baresso, Urban Outfitters, Somersby's delicious apple cider, pizza-esk food on the street, sitting on statues, sitting by the lake again, Planetarium 3D U2 concert, trashing Bono and his huge spotlight-stealing ego, thrashy punk at Laedes Kaeller (Laedes Basement) and beer.

Photos from Copenhagen after I've walked the dog - don't wanna keep the lady waiting!

After a bitch of a flight from Edinburgh there was peace - in Copenhagen

Rather fresh faced for 2 hours of sleep!

The Long Journey Home & Copenhagen with Lovely Claudia!

Prinsesstårta and hot sauce for the soup.

I am currently eating home made saffron salmon and shrimp soup, just about to eat marsipan cake (prinsesstårta)! How lovely to feel the space, cleanliness and general "niceness" of momma's house!

The day in numbers:
0420 Run down to the cab, going to catch the first train to Edinburgh from Perth at 0510.
0536 eating Cheese and Onion crisps - I hate Tesco meal deals.
0730 I've been queuing for half an hour to check in, there are no self-service machines.
0853 On the plane. I hear crying kids from all directions - the one straight behind me who is 'babbling' in German makes it impossible for me to rest in peace.
1130 (GMT+1) Land in Copenhagen
1240 I start my fun and active day with Claudia. Baresso Coffee.
1530 Heaving in the nachos at Hard Rock Café - many old bitter women stare.
1700 Beer at the bar that looks Australian/ Spanish, or like an After-Ski.
1830 Alice in Wonderland 3D - the fold back chairs at Imperial are heavenly velvety softness.
2100 Enjoying cider at the same beautiful bar where cigarette smoke clouds your gaze.
2145 Catch train back
2315 Step inside momma's house! Hurrah!

Pictures from today & yesterday up tomorrow - this girl is tired.

Fish Soup

Alexandra and I made our own twisted fish soup, very tastey indeed. Key ingredients - chili pepper, sea salt, potatoes, broccoli, turnip, carrots...

Tomorrow I am heading to Copenhagen to visit a friend from the era of 'N-balls' and movie nights

Now I am exhausted, going to bed, sipping on cactus/lime/apple juice.

Goodnight

Picture-barf below circa 2006(!)
