My Camera Will Hang Like a Diamond Pendant Around My Neck

I forgot to bring my camera on this splendid day!
I've had loads of photo opportunities and am sad to have missed these shots of Dundee and the pretty people in it! Just came back from Surf Club where Ed, one of the "head surfers" explained the reading wave forecasts... one of the first times surfing was discussed at the Surf Club gathering at the Medina bar? I'm all warmed up for a breezy evening. Now I'm going to say hello to Kirsten who I haven't seen in ages and give her a birthday present!! From now on I will hang my camera bag on my door's coat hanger so I have it with for every little adventure of mine!

Check out the header Chris made on our myspace (but WTF did he do with the font)! He made it using my Photoshop and a photograph I took of his drawing! Don't forget we're playing at Hustler's tomorrow and at the Bread on Thursday for free!

There is a party in the flat nextdoor

With my face on

I was just at a pub quiz at the Nether Inn with Lizzie, Tamar, Lorna and Rachel. We came sixth place, even when cheating using google on our phones... I want to go to that party next door! Sounds rowdy! (But I don't know anyone and no one wants to go with me). I am getting up fairly early tomorrow and swimming with Lizzie at noon, then having lunch at the Art Bar in between classes.

ah no! Now they're playing The Strokes' Last Night...
(Okay there seems to be a lot of swearing and fighting going on, glad I'm safe in my room)..

Good Night!

I've bought a new guitar!

Ann Summer's party last weekend. A tribute to Kirsten!

Yes, today I finally got rid of that horrible £35 3/4 guitar and acquired a brand new one! Got £25 for the old one and so got the new guitar cheaper. 'High quality man, high quality' - the first phrase I learnt in Dundee with a heavy Scottish accent is what best summarises this exchange of guitars.

Haven't been able to play it much since my guest is a better guitar player than I am, so he keeps stealing it.

Today we got free food in the Seabraes common area, and I had awkward conversation with the host Annabelle.

Tomorrow I will claim my free pizza at the 'Refresher's Fayre'. Ahh the greatest things in life are free.

I don't yet have a camera, because I'm waiting for some money, when I get it I will snap photos in every relevant second of my life for you to enjoy.

I have a hyperbolic tone today because I don't want to think about anything other than happiness.

Sunny Dundee

Feels good to be away from the parental restraint! But they still manage to seep in there somehow, don't they? Even though we're nowhere near legally binding anymore. You have to pay your dues for being born all though they're the ones who wanted you in the first place.
- Just an observation...

The sun is bursting through my window, I'm gonna hit the gym, make my body trim, even the talk of a 'chip buddy' scares me a little - carbs on carbs? I just don't get it.

Indoors in London.

Tuesday was my last full day in Dundee for this term. Went to a very sucessful full band practice. Sounded great and rhytmn was intact unlike on other occasions where it has been a tad too fast. Great to have Aaron's lovely girlfriend sitting on his bed reading a book - we're having a full fledged practice session crammed around the king-sized bed taking up most of the space in his smallish room.

I stayed behind and got drunk, learnt everything there was to know about classic rock (so it seemed), handed my CV to the Irish pub Clancy's on my way back home.

Woke up early next morning to do the first set of laundry since late October - I wnated to be fresh and clean before I hopped on the long train ride to London. I took the six hour train and arrived in London halv seven. Took the tube to West London and then went to Portobello's "On the Green," a pub where only old men play blues.

It's getting late, it's Ed's day off and I've only left the flat once at noon to buy breakfast..
