Going out all the time; photo-time

Moving all my stuff to Dan's today, hope we find a flat soon!
Here are some photos from Tuesday's outing with a Scottish level of drinking:
At the union: Mr Hardie!
Rhuaridh and myself!

Arrival of Paul #1
Post-union, chillin' at Euan's
Walk home!
Hope that satiated at least one part of your tongue's taste-buds!

Catching Up in Dundee

The Weekend Update:
Friday
Nina (but unfortunately not Karma) came to visit me on Friday, the day I flew back to Scotland
We had lunch at Dukes and then scurried around town to find good speakers, booze and food for the party! Ended up with 30W surround speakers for £20 (!!) and tequila, rum and brew dog:

More fools rush in

Ken the musical genius
Islandic tambourinist Bryndìs
Kirsty with her new necklace, Cali gave her another one!
Chris passed out early, we wrote all over his body

The bruschetta was amazing, better than the main!

After this last drink a few of us headed to Reading Rooms!
Sunday
After the night at reading rooms it was time to make the most of Nina's last day in Dundee!
Here at McManus Galleries:

And then to the Nina Rhode exhibit at the DCA

Too much free time, tomorrow I head to Aberdeen with Dan, the next day Inverness!

Mom's Open Bar and the Nineteen-Year-Old

Yesterday I had Regina over for drinks in the backyard,
took advantage of Mom's "open bar" mixing to wondrous ratios!

Drink no 1, rum and frozen berries
Drink no. 2 was a nightmare. (Tequila, Kahlùa and Rum with fruit syrups)
Employ me as your bartender if you want to lose your head after 2 drinks.
Tried to make it bareable with ice cream...

After adding various juices, we realised that water did the trick...

Dazed and hazed, switching off screens/ fighting moths

Gulping the last before watching the most tedious "sensual" movie ever - Lady Chatterley.
Only our drunken commentary and intermittent napping made it worthy!

Today we woke up, got ready, shotted espresso and ran into town.
Bro's Birthday lunch at dad's

healthyy
Evening celebration, penguin greeting from Mom...

Dinner on the beach at Barfota ("Barefoot")

The best choice:

Still alive, despite the heavy humid heat
Post-dinner dip in the sea Back at the house for pre-party cake Oskar and Dennis getting ready to go out to a free club where they only drink water (stingy clique)
Hopefully he'll get birthday drinks so he won't look like such a douche!

Weekend of Dreams

I am not complaining!

On Friday Kirsty and I continued to celebrate that two of our exams had been completed, and that we only had one more to go! Suppress life with fun if you don't want to look forward to the near future!
Annuka joined us to go to the fun fair, second day in a row:

Set up by the Tay for healthy wuthering winds slapping your face
"Miami" was our favourite ride
Or possibly "Rockstar", made you feel like one, on a plateau, nauseating and everything
The Jiminy Cricket-ride was disappointing...
Thumbs down!
Neon versus grass-green
Goodbye Dan and Paul (who don't do fun fairs)!
Happy colourful gnome in the grey!
Kirsty and the ginger cat
Shadows of wine that hopefully won't linger in the morning
Saturday's picnic in Baxter Park
Look at this place!
The vast, peaceful evening.
Sunday's May Day celebration in Magdalen Green (big thing in Scandinavia)
Iain, Matt and Douglas decided to read their bad poetry aloud to random crowds on the green whilst Dan accompanied them on guitar....

Mandi and Ed exhibit their dirty potato hobbit feet
Of course there was music!! Ken spreading immediate joy to Paul
Mandi doing her toast thanking everyone for coming, oh the applause (for her being able to stand up)!

It got colder, so we thought of heading to Dexter's open mic
Hugs and Strongbow
Adult drinking triggering childlike expressions
On our way into town we saw beautiful things:

The most adorable dog! Dan's fatherly instinct eminent

We ended up somewhere else, we didn't quite make it to Dexter's..
