When Things Don't Go Your Way

Pictures of yesteryear

and you have no idea why, you should go your own way. "Life is a mystery, everyone must stand alone" - Madonna couldn't have said it any better!

Study/Party Equilibrium

9am lectures don't aid my health, not when I go out and socialize in the evenings.
9am lectures and a tutorial 4/5 days a week. 100% attendance not going to stop now.
I love espresso.
Gym time soon, so maybe I can do this thing yet again, building myself into a mean machine!

Yesterday's Music Drama

Our gig at Dexter's last night was our weirdest most chaotic gig ever...
Chris broke his guitar strings and then started dancing like a fool, and then desperately begged for a replacement guitar, the rest of us were forced to freestyle jam. Annuka was shouting intimidating questions from the crowd like "tell us a story" and "are you single" repeatedly during this intermission. A shaky start... And Chris wasn't used to the guitar so the rhythm was a bit weird, I missed my cues a few times and I couldn't here Gav's solos at all. And most of us were feeling a bit like vegetables from the night before. But we were by far the most energetic band (I feel like I have a right to say that since none of the other front people jumped and sang at the same time) and the crowd was looking pretty happy. But it's embarrassing to say that we were the headlining band for a Saturday gig and performed like we did.
I'm in mental shambles from this thing...

Chris' mental dancing...

Back on track towards the end!
Jumping on time gives you confidence

All in all fun but very odd!!

Weekend Luxe

This weekend was very enjoyable, a great kick start to the Dundee term.
Studies are going well and it's more exciting to go out when you save it for the weekend!

Friday night was the night of Ken's 20th birthday party and Sub Focus Bass Orgy
Started off at Kirsty's serenading the wine.

Annuka brought us along to a gig at Duke's
The man of 'Edward Shallow' joined in
and so we danced to the band Stanley Odd:
We left for Ken's Party, turns out it was in full gear

Ended the night by sneaking into Bass Orgy, bumpy dancing

Real

Being real involves awkwardness as well (I'm not sure).
It's hard to exuberate confidence to some one, two, three people.
Otherwise it's fine. Let's make it fine all the time. It's what I'll work on.

My calendar is full (literally scribbles everywhere),
I am stressed and tired, revising on the first day.
Early starts every day.
