Yesterday's London

Got home from a great evening in East London. Am supposed to be going back again today. I have counted my money. I have 48 or so quid left. Which means I miscalculated my amount of cash before - luckily enough I could top up my oyster card with my visa through signature (can't remember the pin...) but that's pretty much it, nowhere else do they seem to accept cards with signature only. Basically the bundle of cash spent yesterday was on travel (super off peak return ticket £8.20)and food (£1.50 on a big long spinach cheese filled pastry as the market was closing). However I owe Jelena £65 for the vintage shopping I did.... leather shorts and a top.

Today I was planning to have lunch with Karma (Karma and Seb are so nice and offer drinks, breakfast and dinner, it's how I survive) and then send out some CV's print off a CV to hand in to Karen Millen (that my friend's just leaving, so they're needing staff ASAP) and lie to their faces about having 6 months retail experience, hand them my CV which apparently they won't look at, if you're tall and pretty, you'll get a trial. I don't like lying, but this is what she's convinced me to do, haha.

Then drop by AA to see Jelena and see if José is in town, what he's up to.

Then go to the V&A for the free exhibitions on Alice in Wonderland and Rock Legends.

After this I am going to a gig then home to Karma. Hopefully I can convince her to join me!

Haven't seen her much, she's working so much!

I want to get my phone fixed, 3!

Day in Brighton, Night in G-ford

To sum up, I now know why my card isn't working - it has expired, the kind lady in the record store in Brighton informed me of this when I was buying records for £40 or so quid and ended up having to pay cash. Which now leaves me with 50 quid cash left... Yeah. No booze for me is the solution, or close enough.

Karma and I are oing to see Seb's band now! Ta!

Great Day in Camden with Karma/ Beach House Gig!!

Today, I took Karma into Camden on her day off, it was amazing, I bought a red wool hat, she bought a dress at Episode, the vintage store where I'm going back for jeans shorts on Friday, they have tonnes of hot hot old cut off bleached and washed Levi's jeans!

Saw Beach House for the fourth time, they were the best I've ever seen them, lively, spot on and improvising, in their true full-fledged spacey sound! Other times I've seen them they've seemed half-asleep. The venue Heaven worked well for them, a great gig and amazing set!!! The guitarist is so hot. Hot.

Tomorrow it'll hopefully be sunny so I can take a morning trip to Brighton beach and then meet up with Karma after work and buy more £5 hats at New Look, and then we're seeing Seb's band Naked Aces play at the pub we were at on Monday. Hopefully I'll be doing back up vocals for two of their songs, I really want to!

On Thursday I'm going to London to attend a shopping event with Jelena and they're serving free booze, I'm also going to the opening of the Free Range exhibitions (where they also serve free booze) where Libby's art will be shown!

Friday, I'm going to London again, to see the Grace Kelly Exhibit at the V&A, then see a fashion show that Libby has got me into, and see the Grand Union Blues Band (Ed's band) play at Inn on the Green. and then Karma and I will party all night long.

On Saturday I will go to Bournemouth to see Filly!! A good one-nighter then back to G-ford to fly away early Monday morning
