In London it Barely Snowed/ In Dundee it Overflows

I was in London over the weekend it was pretty rad!
On Friday I didn't bring my camera out but I stashed my stuff at Nina's place, she lives in the Westminster dorms. Then we hopped to Camden, met up with Nina's 15-minute friend who she met on one of her late night drunken escapades, in Cardiff! Louis was his name.

We went to Vinyl Bar, the DJ is a show stopper, check it out for hot 90's club stunts.
Ivy and Scott joined us, and showed us what its like to dance in Ibiza. We took the night bus and ended up back where we started from:

The day after we didn't wake up as early as we would have liked to but still made a quick tour around the Saatchi Gallery in Sloane Square:

We went outside to look for Louis, Wetherspoon's and booze for Donna's Birthday party
Pretty faces: Jelena, Donna, Emelie and Ridde.
Mo transferred some of his skills to me, now I know what all the buttons do!

This was possibly the craziest night bus ride, half an hour before the tubes reopened.
Louis camped at Nina's. The next day we somehow managed to get up and go to Brick Lane:
Happy buys at the vintage market.
To round it off we drank at Jack Horner in Tottenham Ct Rd before catching HP 7!

On Monday it was time to leave, but my train was cancelled due to the snow so I hopped on an earlier train in hopes that I would find a seat for some of those 5.5 hours which amounted to 8 hours in the end:

Chris got me at the train station but I didn't need his help to carry my bags. We went to the Nether Inn to have dinner with Annuka:

Annuka and Chris are the loveliest little things. They grew with their burgers.
Chris forced us to go see chick flicks at his place.
Outside my house before we went down the hill on plastic packaging yesterday night.

Dundee is getting all the more snowy: these pictures show nothing compared to how it is now..
It's an Alp village, lead me to the nearest slope!

Great Day in Camden with Karma/ Beach House Gig!!

Karma's first visit to Camden, love at first sight as I expected:
Hat in the bag:

Alex Scally is the sexiest thing on Earth (in Heaven):

Today, I took Karma into Camden on her day off, it was amazing, I bought a red wool hat, she bought a dress at Episode, the vintage store where I'm going back for jeans shorts on Friday, they have tonnes of hot hot old cut off bleached and washed Levi's jeans!

Saw Beach House for the fourth time, they were the best I've ever seen them, lively, spot on and improvising, in their true full-fledged spacey sound! Other times I've seen them they've seemed half-asleep. The venue Heaven worked well for them, a great gig and amazing set!!! The guitarist is so hot. Hot.
______

Tomorrow it'll hopefully be sunny so I can take a morning trip to Brighton beach and then meet up with Karma after work and buy more £5 hats at New Look, and then we're seeing Seb's band Naked Aces play at the pub we were at on Monday. Hopefully I'll be doing back up vocals for two of their songs, I really want to!

On Thursday I'm going to London to attend a shopping event with Jelena and they're serving free booze, I'm also going to the opening of the Free Range exhibitions (where they also serve free booze) where Libby's art will be shown!

Friday, I'm going to London again, to see the Grace Kelly Exhibit at the V&A, then see a fashion show that Libby has got me into, and see the Grand Union Blues Band (Ed's band) play at Inn on the Green. and then Karma and I will party all night long.

On Saturday I will go to Bournemouth to see Filly!! A good one-nighter then back to G-ford to fly away early Monday morning

Settled in London

Did I just spend an hour on my hair? At my friends flat, in the mess that is the 'lounge'

So, everything went well on the train, the middle aged business men said that I should join them at the "most expensive Chinese restaurant in the world" in SoHo, since it's owned by their friend who's serving for free. That was awkward. They apparently thought it would be fun to embarrass their friend by me bringing along loads of people. Yeah, that joke was on me.

When I arrived I applied makeup because let's face it, after a six hour train journey, I'm really not that good looking! I dropped off my minimal baggage at my friend's, we ran to an electronic store and then to a pub. All this in Queensway. Then we went home and got drunk on the beer I had brought as a thank you-present. Then I didn't fall asleep so I took loads of pictures of the room and some of my tired self.

Today my friend is at work, and guess what, oh - I am at work! I actually managed to study and start my economics essay on the train. It's due in two weeks, I am proud of myself! Studying some more accounting, then I am hitting Portobello to check out the awesome vintage store 'Relic' and buy an acid wash tee at American Apparel. Next, if I have time, I'll go to Topshop and Urban Outfitters on Oxford Street.

Now I am going for some food, hitting the books, and I'm off!

Splash!

New song is up now!

Been splashing in the pool with Lizzie P. There was a girl smiling at me.
I think I'll go there more often, they think I'm quite the looker.

Had an all-day breakfast at the Ice Cream Parlour.

Went to the charity shops down Perth road, bought myself a scarf,
not the coat that made me look old.

I am a Golden Child

Today's torso & thighs - necklace, New Look. Space "pants," H&M.

I was a little scared this past week, skiing in kneedeep snow with ski bindings set for a 60 kilo person.

I come home, my mom tells me that the weighing scale's gone bonkers.
I had lovely dinner with lovely dad and brother in town today. Whilst I was at it, I bought myself a pair of golden dark bronze pants and a blue pleather & psuede miniskirt; I think you'll like it.
Will be on display later, maybe tomorrow or the day after.
Now I am passing time freestyling on the grand piano - I've missed that big black thing.
Soon fun times are to be had with Regina, my green NYC babe! First steam of the year? Wait and see.

Snotty Style

After 12 hours of sleep and persistent disease I need something to cheer me up.
Today I plan a shopping spree. I don't want to wear the same clothes anymore. Let's go find the vintage in Dundee.

brand new bright eyes.

Googly eyes and shiny freshness.

I went to Overgate shopping centre to sort my life out.
Came back with a pair of spectacles my daddy sent from
the land of Små Grodorna.
Money was spent on a brand new phone, it is shiny and it was cheap.
Do I want to sweat myself indescent in the form of volleyball practice? Yes. Going at 6:30 today.
