It's Such a Great Day!

It's so sunny and warm in Dundee, it's amazing!
And I'm feeling rather sunny too!
Now I'm all booked up for the gym - my plan is to go 3-4 times a week and if I book 2-3 classes in advance then I have to go or else I get a fine (I'm too lazy to ever call and cancel)!
Brilliant fitness strategy!

Cuckoo Cough

Mid April this year @ the weird artsy venue Secret Project Robot in Williamsburg, New York.

I feel poorly today. Bought Nutella, peanut butter, ginger nut biscuits and Lucozade. None of it seems to help. Itchy throat. Cough, cough, cough. My IBE lecturer knows my name and went up the porch of a building to let other people pass and then greet me, happily he waves "Hello, Isabella! Was just waiting for people to pass so I could say hello to you!" I'm thinking eh? I say Hii, he's only a couple of feet away, yet he says hello, waves with all of his body. It's sweet. Maybe I'm being too cynical.

No parrtying tonight, but already been out twice this week and got drunk off of Templelane's cocktails both times. Those things are massive. Yesterday I had Kentucky Tea (bunch of liquor mixed together, bourbon, whiskey, gin) and Ink Bomb. My lips went blue, as can be observed in the post below.

Back with a Slap

Halloween in Hastings.

Wind punched me today when I arrived in Dundee. Only took 4 and a half to Edinburgh from London, who would've thought. I woke up just before they announced my stop. Lucky, tired, from an eventful weekend. Went to London on Friday after class, arrived half ten, went to Hastings on Saturday to celebrate Halloween with Nina. Her boyfriend Tom was a dead old lady and his flatmate Boogie was dressed as a whore. I was a sad, sad emo. Nina was a mime. I liked Boogie's "whore" shirt, asked if I could have it, he liked to see it as an "I want to get into your shirt"- pickup line. No, man. Just wanted the shirt.
Got away with Tom's ripped lady-dress.
Her birthday was the next day :). Awesome to see Nina. Sad and happy times were had. Things got better towards the end, so I think. Came back to London at five (Hastings is two hours away).
Nice and pub and better. Left this morning, early morning, I was forty-five minutes early and a hobo asked me for a cigarette, I'm sorry, I don't roll fast enough.
Here I am, I washed my face again, thoroughly, I can't comb my hair, forgot the comb in Hastings, so I look like a bit of a mess.

Going to the Grizzly Bear concert tonight in Glasgow. Leaving at six...

Now I'm off to meet EunYi!

I quit smoking, see how stupid it makes me look.

Kirsten the Hairdresser

Kirsten dyed my hair. Lookin' pretty good. I gave it a good chop too.
I call it the grunge bob.

Lizzie is Back!

Lizzie is back and this definitely made my day, if not the whole week, if not.. who knows how long! All I know is I am so happy that she is here, I have missed her so, my body is filled with joy. I have someone who is so funny and smart in my life, for this I am happy again.

This week has been quite dreary, all of us are so different and uncertainty and guilt has kept me down. I am a very social person, but I easily fly away to outerspace if I don't have people to talk to. Makes me go all shoegaze.

And this week has been hard, because of social rejection to a certain extent, and social avoidance to another. I have been wanting to work hard, and perform the best I can, and if the social, extra curricular life is hard I might as well avoid it completely and get more work done.

I am beginning to worry if I will ever meet people with my taste in music. I am generally worried about the vast percentage of students I wouldn't ever consider talking to here. A lot of them seem so blää and empty. Fake tan and short skirts, rugby body and slow body language.
Behind this exterior, is there personality?

Of this I am highly unsure. Drunk and unattentive is what I have percieved them as.

I am glad that Lizzie's back!

Snotty Style

After 12 hours of sleep and persistent disease I need something to cheer me up.
Today I plan a shopping spree. I don't want to wear the same clothes anymore. Let's go find the vintage in Dundee.

Last Night

Yesterday: Social and back to the flat. Dancing in the kitchen. Then we "went out."

EunYi had new shoes, she talked to the boy she liked. We went back to the flat and forced everyone to come out and socialize. I opened my new JD. Jamie was cranky. Kirsten and Lizzy were bubbly. EunYi and I were tipsy. It was fun but when we tried to go out at twelve everything was closed so EunYi drew Kirsten a picture and everyone was happy.
