Rejects' Party

Yesterday's party was a bang, Melissa, Annuka's bff from Geneva was here, it's cool to meet people that you've met before (in Geneva) that others in the group haven't, then you feel privileged. It wasn't so much of a rejects' party, and I am fairly sure I counted 6 singles morphing into 3 couples. It was a good Monday that's for sure.

Kitchen Mess
Melissa
Melody came out with me!
French people shadowing me
Paul filling his can with anything but Strongbow
Kat is cute
Chevalier has the philosophy of a cow
Lindsay broke the E string
The boys club against the right wall of the room
Jittery flirting on the other
Valentines
I borrowed Annuka's perfume, why do you think I am wearing a hat?
More gangster moves on Annuka's behalf
Then Melody and I walked home
I bypassed the Bakery, Melody bought a panini.

Another Day in the Life of

a reject? Going to Annuka and Lindsay's Reject party in a bit, with pizza on the table and wine in a wine glass in my hand, Gav next to me, Melody across, Pilar opposite. Crunching away.

Today I scrambled myself together from yesterday's late fall on the bed. Apart from the routinely studying, there was the routinely visit to the Union where we probably spend 14 hours of our weekly lives.

Bubble-gum and distorted faces for your enjoyment:

A Good Night

Yesterday was rather fun. Annuka and I went speed-dating,
it is sort of packed with the group of people that you expect...
Although we met two Dundonian postmen who are really cool!
Then we saw Chevalier partake in talk show-style Blind Dating!
The chick chose number 1 instead.
Then we went to Pete's house party.
Good whisky to clear my throat.
It was a lot of fun!
Musical jamming, circus-dancing, creativity flowing.
But I was annoyed when surfing was a no-go today, wanted to get out there!

Now let's do some work!
Check it:

The speed-dating venue, only 3 minutes per person thankfully,
but about 45 minutes with the first one due to disorganisation
Blind dating
Walking up hills/going to parties

Party was a circus!
Pete's room
Vintage vinylplayer
Paul on the floor
3rd floor jamming
1st floor jamming

Here you go, Kings and Coward's first rockin' gig in Glasgow immortalised,

Chillin at ze bar

Checking out Me and Mr Groove:
We were on last after 5 bands, Ken's drama-face:

It's a work out I'll tell you...

As the Rush Comes

This past month has been filled with a lot of bubbly evenings per usual:
Been going to gigs at the Doghouse:

The busiest houseparty I've ever been to in my life (cue of 20 people outside the building)
Gangsterized by Annuka, chilling at Band Society
Cooking feasts, serenading wine at Sunday's Dinner:

Then Super Bowl:
Then home at the time when the rainy streets are most beautiful

Sunshine Memories

It's super-sunny today, reminds me of when Kirsty and I trekked up Law Hill a couple of weekends ago. It's the best thing you can do when it's sunny in Dundee. I hope Annuka brings her brother Tarun (visiting from Switzerland) up there today!!

Glasgow Dreams

Hey music is going well when one thing isn't.
Dundee is tiring.
All because I'm too hard on myself.

Dizzuka hosted open mic on Thursday at the Union, had a gig last Friday at the Doghouse, we've written 3-4 new songs that we perform.
Kings and Cowards, the band that I've been in the longest, was featured on Discovery Radio's Rock Show on Thursday, and just had a gig in Glasgow at Captain's Rest this Monday.
A pretty sweet getaway, overlooking all the snowy hills on the drive over, soaking in the happiness from the crowd, bands and one another as we performed on stage, rockin' out, jumping in a 1x2m rectangle's equivalent of space.

The same venue I saw Wavves play in last year.
Pretty sweet for a first gig in Glasgow. The vibe was pumpin'.
Photos up soon after I finish some homework
