The Study-Body

The study body wants what it wants. It craves loads of food and clothes shopping.
This day I've done laundry, the second time this term oh yeah, now I can go to the gym again without people running away from my stench! Back to the books.
Franscesca's having a good bye party now before she goes to Spain for a year - tempting!!
Ciao Bello

Dusk til Dawn!

(new headband from Accessorize!)

Started off with a fruit and yogurt frenzy, and now it's lunch time!
Library is fun! And I love photo booth, uploading photos seems like too much of a hassle at the moment when studying is the priority!

'BRARY CHILD

Gangsta! We're thinking out strategies as to how I can take a sneak peak at a guy who's in our Economics tutorial group (he's sat down in one of private study cubicles). I'm thinking of "going to the bathrroom". I am here with Kirsty, back from a great day in downtown Dundee! Shopping and coffeebreaks.. I've bought a shirt, a leather bag, leather black MC boots, beige Vans, and a bundle of nailpolish and necklaces, headbands and a kitty mask, and a kid's star headband to match Kirsty!

Will post hella lotta photos later!
Ciao

I'M ALL ALONE!

What the hell? Vicky, Kirsty and Emily just left me alone at the library! Vicky made me go into town with her and forced me to eat nachos second day in a row! Ugh, they close in an hour and I've spent my day explaining stuff to Vicky and Kirsty, so now I need to catch up on stuff I wanted to do! Whaa! House party's on later...

KIRSTY'S BACK

At the library with lover!
I brought boiled eggs with me and we drew them into people!

I borrowed Kirsty's notes and found this odd timeline next to the choice of essay titles, a log of her indecisive decision-making? hahaha
We had our lunch in one of the university's 'secret gardens'!

We're studying economics following a schedule, looking forward to the break in half an hour!
Ginger beer here I come!

Off to the Library!

Again. Going back for another battle with the books.
I'm not doing interesting stuff but I try to look the part

Just another nerdy perv? Wearing Zara, Oasis and mom's.

Study Blog

At the library, tearing this place apart til closing (midnight).
We went for a "study break" earlier, had delicious lunch at Braes! Then we hit the town, I returned the dress I bought yesterday, and instead bought a lot of other clothes... A new skirt, dress, studded waist belt, flowers to put in hair, a lovely beaded hippie hair band and übercool blue pop shades! Kirsty bought a dress and a belt but she never showed me what it looked like on, so I don't really know what to think of it. Then had we sorbet (fat free!!) Marble Slab. Overpriced bollocks. Post pictures of fun times later, now we're back to studying. Ta!
Enjoy the heroin-chic look below, at least alluding to thinness:

AMAZING HAPPINESS SUPER DAY

Had the best day yesterday - what one would almost call perfect: I took only two papers with me to my Economics tutorial so I could leave straight after. I understood what the hell was going on in class - amazing! I met up with Kirsten, we bought booze and a sausage roll. Four cans of Red Stripe, two bottles of cider. If we consumed it? Oh yes. On the bus! Lovely bus ride, the sun was shining the weather was fine, with the handsome countryside on our side and ginger Scottish cows.

Upon arrival and a little bit tipsy, we go into Topshop on Princes Street. I buy a bra and an I Love New York t-shirt which I now regret and want to kill and return. Next we hitch across the bridge, go to for some food at 'The Malt Shovel', a pub with some excellent 2 for £10 grub. I'm in love (and I've been here before)! Then it's concert time. Kirsten's had a vodka cranberry still standing strong, whilst I've had another beer and trying to sober up eating Kirsten's chocolate. We trek along.
For some reason I have a cigarette in my bag and I give it to a homeless man who turned down the chocolate. Apparently beggars can be choosers.

Queens Hall is just straight ahead and we manage to run in just as Beach House start playing one of my faves off their new album - A Walk in the Park! Oh yeah. It's not overly crowded and a lot of people seem to have little idea of who Beach House are. They play a short set of six songs including Zebra, Norway, Silver Soul, Take Care of You and Gila. The leading lady was mellow as usual and didn't say much.

Grizzly Bear come on. Their records do not do justice to their sound! They're extraordinarily talented musicians - I never realised how much they swap things around, with two different lead vocalists for various songs and it seemed like they each had 3 instruments to switch between. The light show is amazing! Whilst Beach House had lights in furry white pine trees, Grizzly Bear has light bulbs glass jars hanging down from wooden panels at different heights and lengths.

The highlight of the show is when Victoria Legrand gets back up on stage to support Grizzly Bear, first doing back up in "Two Weeks" then there was the epic mash up! I've been trying to look for the two songs which I now in hind sight I realise is the track "Slow Life" they did for the soundtrack of New Moon... Which means I made quite a few embarrassing comments on how amazing this mash up was and Kirsten's like "they should record it!" I'm like "totally!"
Oh, wait - they already have!

I left the concert with a new Beach House t-shirt in my possession.
Oh yes.

The sun is shining today too! What a perfect day to buy a camera and ink for my printer!
Also a perfect day to do my Psychology report which I'm doing at the moment.

I've created my own mess

Yesterday's skype chat with mom, brother and my dog Frigg (she was so confused)!

Ah! A little stressed. I'm practicing a couple of songs with Chris tomorrow, and we're doing Open Mic Night at the Union again. Then I'm hitting a massive cocktail party where everyone seems to be invited. Wouldn't miss it for the world! Which is why I need to do all my work today!

- Economics math test tomorrow
- Financial accounting assessment on Friday
- Psychology report for Friday

I'm feeling super happy and friendly today despite the fact that I don't feel very well, people are sniffing their runny noses all over the place! Take an Advil, you're in heaven.
Plus you kind of get a kick out of seeing Kirsty rush into class all flustered and hung over.

Made a proper lunch today with beetroots, mushrooms, egg, and had to eat all 20 meatballs as they're going out of date today. Red onion is great when frying minced meat! (GYM-GYM-GYM-GYM)

Also stressing out about this bank contact (thank you, father) that I was unable to call yesterday, and who is in Dubai today and is not answering. Stress! Competition! I only want to be the best!
