Train Blog

I wrote most of this essay on the party train. the noisiest, busiest train ever. Yes, I will take this train down south friday noon again..
I just submitted the essay, thanks to Kirsten my ass will be fine.

Off to London in 45

Clean, black, and as honourable as a girl scout? Chaos panic disorder.

Ah gee, I still haven't finished. I feel like crap. I'm bringing my laptop on the train, hopefully I cam finish it there before the deadline.
Oh nooo! This is stressful. At least I've packed, fitting everything into my handbag and a fabric bag. I hope someone will do me the favour of printing my essay off and handing it in and that the wi-fi on board works.

I'm bringing my camera, there will plenty of photos of this weekend!

maybe I deserve this just a little

Yesterday the Union was packed!

Ah, I just called up a friend last minute asking if I could stay at theirs, I feel so rude! But when I have a choice, I'd rather note spend my afternoon chasing across town in pursuit of a flat key when the person in question is not home. I don't want to be stressed out when I'm only in London for the weekend. I wish could get a flat here (mom/dad please buy a flat in Central London?!) so that I would feel less like a burden. But no worries, I will chill and have fun!

Ugh, I am anxious and not really feeling the rush to go to London, right now I just feel sick, consumed with stress.

Yesterday night, an Indian guy, who has been perving on me before, randomly asked one of my friends to introduce him to me. So horrible, such a creepy loner. My pal David was being annoying saying I look like "Scarlett Jo" over and over again. Then he went on to that I even "transcend her beauty." The creep leans in, whispers in my ear "he's trying to say you don't need as much makeup" which might not sound scary but it is considering that's the only thing he said and then continued to stare. So basically, Scarlett Jo is a hoe, I'm not but I still look like her?!

Moving on to better things on the dance floor, ignoring the fact that the creep was totally stalking. A fun night! Just wish that guys didn't have to be such creeps!
Make me a smurf, please!

Now I have to write this essay.

Amazing Yesterday

Running around campus, now we know where the hot guy lives!

Started devouring drinks 1:30pm at Social. The Guinness was cheap and the free burgers were good! We went to the Union, loads of people in the building, scorching heat, good live music. Kirsty wanted to go home but I forced her to go back home with me for more drinks and good music. We stepped outside the Union, and ran around everywhere. I stole yet another Guinness glass.
Pictures from 6 pm onwards will be up soon, along with a description of what happened next.

I met loads of people yesterday, such a fun day running into everyone meeting great peeps, realising that we're all connected through a big net of friends. Thomas, Stewie, Amrita and Kirsty are the best.

Today is essay day.

Let the Fun Times Roll In!

Green in the name of Saint Patrick (or a leprechaun)

Going for some free pizza at Social. Kirsty texted me asking "are we allowed to bring containers, do you think? I have no food :S "

Coffee & Tea

I just burnt my tongue.
It's okay because the sun is peeking out today.
Ouch. Off to more classes!

Early Bird

I didn't go out because I felt sick, so today I feel great, first time I've gone to bed before 12 in months! I am ready for 9 am accounting. Although I bet Kirsty (who I was to go out with yesterday) isn't.
Snoozers are loozers.

Happy Saint Patricks Day!

From Wah to Blah

No one enjoyed the pap-snapping but me. @ band practice, Chris, Gavin and Aaron's flat.

Mind, today is one of those days where at 5pm you start feeling horribly nauseous, everything seems horrible, and all your insecurities are brought up in conversation. Who cares about the surface when it's your inside that's ugly!..

I feel useless. But, after band practice (my voice was horrible today) Christian was kind enough to give me half of his pizza. The kind man that he is! I brought my camera, but my pap-snapping was not appreciated.

I was doing so well earlier today! I was sharp headed, enjoying lectures, taking efficient notes. I've started bringing my MacBook to classes - from now on I can take more notes in less amount of time, meaning that I follow lectures clearly and that I'm able to read my notes.

I'm off to Skint Night at the Union at 12. Studying until then, yes I am!

Pictures from my walk home below
I was heading down a side street for a nightly stroll along Madgalen Green until I saw this:
The Christian Clown.
Let your kids play on holy grounds. (creepy playground by yet another church).

Waking up on the right side of the bed

I found the key to waking up early without feeling like death came to visit.
Leave your window and curtains open when you go to bed, let the morning light slowly wake you, if that doesn't do it, the cold will!

Smoothie in a Guiness glass tastes so good! People underestimate the tastiness of frozen raspberries and a banana. Mix in a dab of lemon juice, linseeds and water and you're there!
Fighting obesity one day at a time.
Bonne journée!

Our Band Rocks!

@ Chambers. Chris loves to pose, awesome Gavin is texting his lover(s).

and two of my bandmates do too! Chambers Bar is so nice they said they'd have Beach House on next time we play (the 24th of March)!
Now I'm home watching a documentary on the disintegration of Detroit! Amazing! Here are some pictures of tonight,
mostly of alleyways. I love them.

Chris walked past me and had to walk back. 'Waiting' at Caird Hall.
I love alleyways!

If we were a duo this would be our alleyway band photo.

Goodnight!

Super Ego

Going to Chambers to have a couple beers with my band mates!
I've been trying to study today, did okay, but can do much better!
Filled out applications for bursaries and study exchange (ERASMUS).

Plaits & Pancakes

The steps to the train station/ Tesco, even I have become too lazy for this 15 min walk.

I've never ever been this lazy in my whole life.
It's not my fault, I've only acclimatised!
Literally have not stepped out for fresh air for longer than 30 minutes this weekend - sad and disgusting! I don't want to turn into a fat slob who'd rather eat fish and chips than vegetables!

Lizzie braided my hair into a herringbone plait yesterday, I woke up, brushed it, tomorrow it will be greasy enough for a shower!

I overdosed on food at around ten as I came home with my shopping (naturally from the Union store, 2 minutes away, not Tesco which is proverbially accepted as being "miles away").

I was doing so good with green tea, asparagus soup and an egg sandwich!
I must deflate!

I can't wait for London next weekend!

I Woke Up When the Seagulls Did.
