Monday in Copenhagen and Helsingborg at Night

After a bitch of a flight from Edinburgh there was peace - in Copenhagen

Rather fresh faced for 2 hours of sleep!

Sunday - Dexter's gig in pictures

Poor Chris had to wear his only whole shoes - tennis trainers, I wore the Docs that he was kind enough to mend!

Chris looking clean cut with Gav's Ibanez, Cute 16/17 year olds that were on before us, Kings & Cowards rock your socks, winning the crowd over with the acoustic set, finishing off on a solid note, leaving people wanting more.

Dog Walking in Country Style

I'm wearing my mom's hat and blazer (and Movado watch, don't tell)

Been walking my cute dog Frigg in the woods for a while, strolling softly on nature's path, watching boys jog, disappointingly not yet in shorts.

Been eating mandarin yogurt with fresh kiwis from my crystal whiskey glass and sipping peppermint tea from my favourite large lavender hand made tea cup. I AM LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF THIS.

The Long Journey Home & Copenhagen with Lovely Claudia!

Prinsesstårta and hot sauce for the soup.

I am currently eating home made saffron salmon and shrimp soup, just about to eat marsipan cake (prinsesstårta)! How lovely to feel the space, cleanliness and general "niceness" of momma's house!

The day in numbers:
0420 Run down to the cab, going to catch the first train to Edinburgh from Perth at 0510.
0536 eating Cheese and Onion crisps - I hate Tesco meal deals.
0730 I've been queuing for half an hour to check in, there are no self-service machines.
0853 On the plane. I hear crying kids from all directions - the one straight behind me who is 'babbling' in German makes it impossible for me to rest in peace.
1130 (GMT+1) Land in Copenhagen
1240 I start my fun and active day with Claudia. Baresso Coffee.
1530 Heaving in the nachos at Hard Rock Café - many old bitter women stare.
1700 Beer at the bar that looks Australian/ Spanish, or like an After-Ski.
1830 Alice in Wonderland 3D - the fold back chairs at Imperial are heavenly velvety softness.
2100 Enjoying cider at the same beautiful bar where cigarette smoke clouds your gaze.
2145 Catch train back
2315 Step inside momma's house! Hurrah!

Pictures from today & yesterday up tomorrow - this girl is tired.

Isabella & the Cowards

NY tourists loved me! Branded me with a sticker and gave me their EP

Is what we should be called according to the headlining band from Blackburn on their UK tour (NY Tourists). Hellz yeah! Gig went well tonight, set list of seven songs. 2 acoustic songs, our 'Rest is Silence' and 'Dust in the Wind'. The audience loved it. NY Tourists said we should do more acoustic stuff. Hellz yeah! I'm just really excited that people enjoyed it (and dancing on stage always works). I guy came up to us asking if there was a EP or a CD he could buy! Will be so great when we finish some new songs and record our EP! "Soon my head won't fit through the door' as Gavin so eloquently expressed it. There was a creepy photographer who had a crazy good camera but was totally perving on me. My friend Thomas confirmed my suspicions when he saw that 70-80% of the photographer's photos were of just me. .

Photos up tomorrow after I kill myself with this journey to Scandinavia - taxi at 04:20. Hellz Yeah! Got my Tesco food so I'll be okay.

Ahh

Running to get my train tickets for the 5.10 Perth train tomorrow, then to Chris' then Dexter's for our gig!! Don't miss it!

Steaming My Face Because I am a Swede!

Just your average Swede, Alfred Nobel.

Woke up with a tender cough. No! we're recording our 8 song set tonight, and it must be perfect!
I'm now steaming my face to alleviates my cold and make sure I look as brilliant as I sound tonight.

Soon I'm off for a walk in the park, then buying my travel food for the early morning.

The Father of Band & Glass Doors & Cheap Cider

Last Saturday I convinced Chris to stay at the pub by saying that I would give him a scone worth £1.30, meaning that a pint would only cost him 70p, meaning that it would be the same as buying it in an Offie. I also asked him questions about his girlfriend who he loves too much. It took him an hour to leave and go back home to continue his essay.

Did I mention Christian aka the father of the band just got a blog? Check it out and let the Blog Wars begin! I hope he'll write about when he goes to the zoo with his girlfriend. I too want to know what a Shetland pony looks like in Dundee!

P.S. he walked into a glass door yesterday because he was running to catch up/surprise me as I walked out the pub.

Kids - Get Your Parents to Buy You Some Stocks

Best piece of advice I could ever give someone under 18 still living with their parents! I got money from my shares - this is a happy feeling when you're a student without an income. If I had the time to be in full employment I would. I hate spending money whilst not making any.

Practice today was nice and productive - we plan to play a set of 8 songs tomorrow - four covers and 4 of our own. amazing! Be there!
Dexter's at 8:30

Kings & Cowards Advance

Yesterday, - before seeing Spanky's Hero play at Chambers - Chris, Gavin and I worked on the new song, I came up with a vocal line for the verse and chorus and used lyrics from my lyric book. Chris liked the lyrics a lot so what started off as being provisional is now the chorus. Kings and Cowards are forming their sound - this is exciting!

"UNINCREDIBLE TITLE
RECORDED AS SOMETHING SPECIAL,
AMERICAN BEAUTY-BAG
IT DOESN'T MATTER, I AM GLAD,
'FINALLY, A GIRL WITH A BRAIN'"

Tonight I've booked Stage 2000 - we're rehearsing for two hours to prepare for our sparkle and shine-gig at Dexter's tomorrow!

Yesterday in Photos

In the club, Mexican dress-up, at the bar letting the sweat dry in, walk outside attacked by pervs, running home freezing, moonshine!

Now I am hungry off to buy hobnobs and go to Chris'!

Sunshine and a Wrap

It's hot today, I'm only wearing a cardigan out in the sun!
Just came back from a psychology experiment that was exciting and fun! Basically just listed items associated with the subject on the paper whilst we were timed - similar to the paper game "Bus stop"

Going to Chris' later to rehearse and write lyrics (and apparently Gavin is having a party there later...)!

Now I'm going to bite into this wrap and hit the books!

Remarkable Night with 'Mexicans' and Perverts

Uploading pictures tomorrow! Another big day with Kirsty! Soup - then chicken nachos and beer at Wetherspoon's 'til the night hit us - smack!
Kirsty has a plan to take many unflattering pictures of me and "bargain." Hahahaha. Economic terms mixed up in the life of Scumdonians.

I slowly walked passed a guy and suddenly his drink dramatically smashed into a million pieces (the guy was hott). The sleeve of my kaftan dress had apparently caught on to his drink and killed it.

So many perverts - I cannot begin describe how many of them were way too close (I could go on forever! One grabbed Kirsty's bum and I blew up in flames! Told the guy that he should definitely keep his hands to himself, and that he should realise how wrong it is to touch someone else without an invitation! From the moment I opened my mouth he reminded me of a stupid classmate that would reiterate "shut up", which is exactly what this guy did. Then I said "fine act like you're stupid and don't understand, but you know what I mean!" He was like "I'm stupid, i'm stupid." I: "Fine, you be stupid, as long as you don't bother me and my friend, carry on as you are (stupid)." "I'll just stand here and be stupid." - Jeez this is when it got scary, the guy was locked in, and the other friends where really close to us, Kirsty was talking to one of the creeps about a thick jock in our class while all this was happening. WE RAN TO THE CHIP SHOP FOR SAFETY AND THEN HOME FOR SOME FLIGHT OF CONCORDS! Soothing to see good guys, restoring faith in mankind. Now we must go to bed so we can get the good breakfast deals and make it to our psychology experiments tomorrow

Peace,
Kirsty on the flo'!

Sweaty Death

Why must I procrastinate? It gets worse every assignment I do, I push myself further every time to how quickly I can do it and still get the same grade as everyone else - not acceptable when you know you can do so much better! Now I'm going to watch Ugly Betty to come down from this high - then I'm actually going to revise if it means I'll have to pay someone to watch me do it. Yes, WATCH, because I actually understand things rather well, I'm just helplessly lazy when it comes to my studies!

Help me please.
But did I mention how well practice went yesterday! Despite the room being shit, we managed to pull out a kick ass version of Evergreen and N.I.B. (Black Sabbath)
